Well, if some people are concerned about the cluttering of the map in larger scales: This feature can be implemented with a simple menu button e.g. "show Pattern altitude and runway designators on larger map scales". So it's up to the user his map setting on which scale he like to see this?
I recently saw the map screen of a competing product, they also use vector maps and show this information in a good shape at larger scales on the map screen.

We don't currently plan to annotate the map at those scales. The information you require is in the Airfields tab under Approach Information for the airfield you're interested in. We shouldn't get tempted by adding everything to the map when in some cases it makes more sense to have it available elsewhere on demand.

could you enable the descriptions of the pattern altitude and RWYs on the map in the 100k and 250k zoom level also?
